Saline sprays and rinses carry the best evidence-to-cost ratio of anything in the pharmacy aisle. Intranasal steroids are available without a prescription in the US and hold the strongest evidence for drip driven by nasal inflammation.
Decongestants like pseudoephedrine can help for a few days but raise blood pressure and cause rebound congestion when overused. Limit decongestant nasal sprays to three consecutive days maximum.
What the Evidence Does Not Support

The Dairy and Mucus Question, Settled
